Administrative Assistant to the General Manager (Male or Female)





Office Gems is facilitating the recruitment of an Administrative Assistant to the General Manager for a Company is San Juan. The ideal candidate should be energetic, open-minded and be willing to learn. Both male and female candidates who meet the criteria will be considered.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  1. Managing the calendar of the General Manager of the company.
  2. Facilitating and supporting the provision of customized services to the company’s clients.
  3. Providing receptionist duties.
  4. Establishing and maintaining the Company’s records management system (physical and digital files) including management of incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  5. Preparing and dispatching correspondence and other business documents.
  6. Providing other related administrative duties.


Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  1. Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
  2. Certification in Administration or related field is a requirement.
  3. At least three (3) CAPE subjects one of which must be Mathematics and the others can include MOB, Accounting, Economics, Communication and/or information Technology.
  4. At least five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects, two of which must be Mathematics and English Language.
  5. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
  6. Strong time management and organizational skills.
  7. Proven experience in managing a senior Manager.
  8. Possession of your own vehicle will be an asset.

The working hours of the Company are Monday to Friday from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm.
