Office Gems is facilitating the recruitment of an Associate Attorney at Law for Joseph Rowe’s newly opened office in GRENADA.

Joseph Rowe is a law firm based in St. Kitts and Nevis. The firm provides a wide range of legal services and is positioned for growth with a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Kindly note that the successful candidate will be expected to work physically out of Joseph Rowe’s office in Grenada.

The successful candidate would be expected to:

1. Work independently and supervise support staff.
2. Represent clients at all levels of court (Magistrate’s Court, High Court, Court of Appeal).
3. Prepare legal opinions on various matters.
4. Conduct research and prepare well-reasoned legal submissions and legal opinions.
5. Draft pleadings for civil claims.
6. Interact directly with clients and manage clients effectively.
7. Manage cases and files efficiently.
8. Prepare and vet documents for the purchase and sale of property 
9. Provide legal support to the clerical staff in the carrying out of their functions

Required Qualifications and Experience:

1. A Bachelor of Laws Degree
2. A Continuing Legal Education Certificate
3. Post qualification experience of at least five (5) years would be an asset

The ideal candidate would possess the following: 

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
2. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team 
3. Excellent organizational skills 
4. Detail-oriented 
5. Ability to think critically 
6. Flexibility to work extended hours or on weekends (if required)
