Marketing Assistant





Office Gems is facilitating the recruitment of a MARKETING ASSISTANT for a Financial Institution in Central Trinidad.


Please note that our client requests proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all new employees, unless he/she is deemed medically unfit to receive the vaccine.


The Main Duties of this position include:

  1. Coordinating marketing-related activities and various types of communication
  2. Co-ordinating training activities/ sessions
  3. Preparing various types of reports/ proposals/ press releases
  4. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Maintaining social media sites/pages
  6. Records management


Qualifications and Experience

  1. At least a Diploma in Marketing or a related field.
  2. Five (5) CSEC/ CXC/ O’Levels, two (2) of which must be English Language and Mathematics
  3. A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role in a marketing department


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  1. Mature and responsible
  2. Creative
  3. Well organized
  4. Disciplined
  5. Computer Literate/ Microsoft Office Literate
  6. Honest and highly confidential


A suitable combination of experience, qualifications and skills will also be considered for this position.


The incumbent will be required to work only four (4) days a week.
