Office Gems is facilitating the recruitment of Insurance Sales Persons for The Soodie Jaikaran Agency - Pan American Life, South / Central area.

Full training will be provided.

A Developmental Allowance will be paid once the candidate has been contracted and training has started.

Duties/Responsibilities
The duties of the of the Insurance Sales Persons will be to:
1. Develop and maintain a client base.
2. Seek new prospects via referrals, direct mail, social media and other methods.
3. Consult with clients and prospective clients to assess clients needs, budgets, financial planning and other relevant details.
4. Complete applications and other necessary work.
5. Deliver policy documents.
6. Follow up with clients on a periodic basis.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Ability to clearly explain complex insurance documents.
3. Ability to provide comfort to clients.
4. Trainable and initiative to learn.
5. An open-minded attitude toward persons.

Qualifications
1. Minimum five (5) CXC/CSEC passes, one of which must be English Language.
2. Advanced Level/CAPE or Bachelors Degree is preferred but not necessary.
3. At least two (2) years' sales experience and/or training will be an asset.
4. Work experience in a customer-oriented environment will be an asset.
