Office Gems and Caribbean Careers are facilitating the recruitment of a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk for G3 Hardware and Home Centre.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting stock management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items in a timely manner
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of inventory records, including receiving, issuing, and adjustments
• Assist with receiving deliveries, verifying quantities, and organizing stock in designated areas
• Maintain proper labelling and organization of inventory for easy identification and retrieval
• Review and verify product information and records to ensure consistency and accuracy (content review)
• Support inventory audits and assist in preparing reports as required
• Collaborate with team members to improve inventory processes and efficiency
Qualifications and Skills:
• At least five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English Language
• At least two (2) years' experience in stock control, inventory management of a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good technical proficiency, including the ability to work with inventory systems and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
Assets (Not Mandatory):
• Knowledge or experience in graphic design (useful for labeling, product presentation, or promotional materials)
Working Environment:
• Fast-paced retail environment
• May require standing for extended periods and handling stock items
