Funeral Coordinator





​Office Gems is facilitating the recruitment of FUNERAL COORDINATORS for The Belgroves Group of Companies’ Trincity and San Fernando Branches.

At Belgroves Funeral Home, they believe every tribute should honor life with care, precision, and dignity. They are seeking a dedicated Funeral Coordinator to ensure every service runs flawlessly, supporting families by bringing together all the details that matter most.


What You Will Do:

As a Funeral Coordinator, you will turn plans into reality. With compassion and meticulous attention to detail, you will:

• Receive and review tribute requirements from Client Executives and ensure every request is clearly documented.

• Coordinate with Mortuary Staff, Drivers, officiants, and Venue Representatives to ensure all preparations meet the Belgroves Gold Standard of Service.

• Oversee logistics and setup — from flowers, tents, and décor to casket delivery and livestream arrangements.

• Prepare and manage essential documentation such as permits, notices, programs, and accolades.

• Conduct final checks of the venue, and arrangements to ensure accuracy and presentation.

• Be present at services, providing on-the-ground support to families and addressing unforeseen issues with professionalism and care.


Who You Are:

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.

• A strong communicator who can collaborate across teams and liaise with external vendors.

• Compassionate and respectful, with the ability to support families in sensitive moments.

• Someone who takes pride in creating seamless, meaningful experiences for others.


Qualifications and Experience:

• First Degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science or Business Administration.

• A minimum of five (5) CSC/GCE O’Level passes, including English Language.

• Training or certification in Event Management, Customer Service, or Funeral Services will be an asset.

• At least two (2) years’ experience in event coordination, operations, hospitality, or a customer-facing role requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate logistics, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort using scheduling and database systems.

• Possession of a valid Driver’s Permit.
